2005 - 2006 Cross Country Road Trip

Wedding Crashing: At the end of June we parked our home in Oregon with family, hopped on a plane in Portland and began our wedding whirlwind. In Omaha, we celebrated with Fritz's high school friend John as he married Brandy. A couple of weeks later, I donned a taffeta dress and hit the runway for my college roommate and great friend Nikki when she married Dean. It was great to see our friends get hitched- it did not hurt that both receptions had chocolate fountains either!

In between the weddings, we were able to visit Fritz's parents, Oma (Fritz's Grandmother), and our friends in Austin who graciously joined us as we took a culinary tour of Austin stuffing our faces with all the food we had been missing on the road-you can only eat so many products that say "just add water and boil." While in San Angelo, we also managed to acquire a kitty - she is a stray whom we named Amelia. She is staying with Fritz's parents till we return. After returning from Texas, we stayed in Oregon for a while to visit with family, hit the beach, and saw the Lewis and Clark National Park.

Ryan and Sarah - We would like to apologize for being lame and missing your nuptials. We are so happy for y'all, Congrats.

Erika, Larry, Jane, Tom, and Travis - Thank you for taking care of us while we were in Oregon and watching our 'apartment' when we headed to the lone star state.

Irene and Travis - We had a great time staying with you. Thank you for all your help and offering to take care of Amelia while we are on this crazy adventure. We could not do it with out you! Thank you.

Oma - We enjoyed spending time with you in Corpus. Thank you for the all the great home cooking.

Katey, Brady, Tony, and Rhonda - Thank you for letting us crash at your places while we were in Austin. We have missed ya'll so it was great to hang out.

Cyrus- Thank you for giving us a ride to the airport at the @$$ crack of dawn.
